Final screen captures of the "Dusty Corridor" project, for Level Assembly and Lighting Class. The aim was to create a basic scene, reminiscent of an old, yet reasonably maintained institution and apply an early morning feel to the scene, adding additional effects and subtleties to bring life to a scene of calm and tranquil nature. From basic concept through delivery, this was certainly a "crash course" in Unreal Engine. I discovered not only the depth of power behind the engine, but also that I enjoy creating scenes and environments above what I expected! I also broadened my understanding of the Substance tools and was able to crete some reasonably convincing procedural materials for the scene.
